GA1 Certification
GA1 Certification involves a report of results of thorough examination and carried out by a Competent person on all machines that must comply with Health & Safety regulations. This regulation is under the Safety Health and Welfare at Work. This can be a 12 or 6 month test.
In accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) Regulations 2007 all lifting equipment must be tested and examined by a competent person. This test and examination shall be carried out at specific intervals (either 6 or 12 months) and the competent person must produce a written report of thorough examination namely the GA1 certification.
How we can help you?
A competent person can travel to your construction site, quarry, industry or factory at any location in Ireland at a time that is convenient to you. This competent person will test and examine your plant and machinery, lifting equipment and accessories to ensure they are fully compliant with all H.S.A. and legislation requirements. On successful completion of the test you will receive a GA1 Certificate, a sticker for display on your machine and a copy of the test report. If your machine is not fully compliant with GA1 standards a written report will be provided recommending the improvements required to comply fully with GA1 standards.
